Hi, I’m Faye.

“Full stack” communications pro. Meme maven. Chronic healer main.

I have worked across the games industry on TCGs and video games, from cozy to competitive - all with a focus on building and supporting healthy, positive, and vibrant communities.

Currently, I’m the Head of Community at Chaos Manufacturing, where I work on the action RPG SOL Shogunate. Before that, I worked on titles such as the MMORPG Code-named Ghost, Palia, the Pokémon TCG, and other Pokémon titles, across all of which I’ve had the distinct pleasure and privilege to work with hundreds of thousands of dedicated players. I’ve been humbled and proud to receive nominations for my work such as the CMX Gaming Community Award and the World of Wonder WOWIE Awards.

I champion authentic, transparent, one-to-one community interactions, and always make time to dig my hands into my game communities.

Let’s build something cool together! Check out some more of my work below, and drop a note to say hi!

The Pokémon Company Int’l

Campaign Snapshot: The Dreamblade

A new MMORPG only gets to announce their first class once, so we wanted it to land with fanfare.

The Goal: Announce Ghost’s first major class, the Dreamblade, to generate hype and determine target demographic sentiment.

The Challenge: Ghost was an open-development, pre-production game, so we needed to balance the desire to hold information for our announcement with the expectation from our community that we would share our development process. The Dreamblade was also not feature complete, so we needed to ensure that our campaign helped to coach our community to understand that the class still had time to grow and change.

The Plan: A high-level strike team worked to create a three-pronged attack plan to announce the class and generate conversation and excitement while ensuring our communication was transparent, genuine, and honest:

  • A studio-focused, multi-platform social media announcement & developer livestream.

  • Traditional PR interviews and assets at MMORPG-focused media.

  • Early streamer partnership to focus conversation on good-faith feedback and future development.
